Been offered this for £350, full MOT, Full Service history, paint is faded but will come up nice with a good t cut and mop. Full electrics including roof. Its the 1.6 16v model My idea is to let the Mrs Drive it this summer, then keep it in the garage till next summer and sell it for a little profit. Is there anything in it? I personally hate these cars but the Mrs wants a cheap convertible for some summer fun as shes never had one before someone also said the plate may be worth some cash

Cheap car that, in hight of summer You would probably see £800-£1000 as it's so clean and original

£350 seems a right bargain to me. If you keep it as it is it'd be impossible not to make any money on that come next year. I'd run it round until about May next year and advertise it for about £895 and see what happens. I don't see you getting much more than that because there's all sorts of cheap-ish soft tops about these days.

That would probably be down to the Q plate more than anything, I'm watching an identically car on eBay at the moment but with double the mileage and thats currently sitting at £300 with 3 days left and about 20 bids

The plate isn't worth a light. You might get one of those registration dealers to value it at £600 (or some equally ridiculous amount) and then offer to sell it for you but it's honestly not worth the hassle.
