its done just over 20,000 which is verified by various recipts and mots dating years back. its a 1256 with a vinyl roof and bodywork in jamacia yellow, with the optional 'viva sl' centre console. Not mint condition but a very straight useable classic on average whats it worth, thinking about selling to fund a 1500 dolly or small datty cheers

at a guess £1500, maybe more
Its certainly worth far more than £700
at £700 it would be cheaper to buy this than replace the two front wings on my own viva, not that they need replacing! ;D

I would be over the moon with £1500, I think its the colour that makes it a slight bit more interesting
Forgot to add, its got about 6 months mot left on it and only needed handbrake adjustment and wheel cylinders and brake shoes for test. Had valve clearences done today and is as quiet as you like!

it sounds silly but ive never seen one ever like it, as in terms of the colour, mileage and the history, hard one to put a price on really. thanks for the suggestions

Have you seen what price wings go for lately? of course it depends on its condition, pictures can be very flattering! in your ebay link, there were ones which the seller thought worth more than £1500 considering the condition and mileage, and others that sold for far less than a grand, but needing a full restoration, so I guess its somewhere in between, depending on the condition and the amount the seller is prepared to let it go for!

I think you might not know there are two types of front wings? early ones that curl up at the edges and late ones (like the guy asking) that are flat accross the top. but no. I haven't looked at prices of panels. there is a fairly nice straight two door on my ebay link, with a years MOT that sold for a grand. of course ebay is a bit hit and miss and it all depens on who is looking for a car at that time. opening poster asked for opinions. and thats all we can give him.

I am well aware that there are two types of wing, you may be un aware that flat top wings go for £200-£250 each, and pointy tops add another £50 anyhow, the only way to value it, is to see it in the flesh!
