Mine consists of is it cheap and why is it cheap. I like cars not many others seem to or ones that are renouned for being faulty or curse word/undesirable. Currently looking for something to fill a £600 gap that is random or overly cheap

Bar a few exceptions to the rule, half of the cars on the list were under £600 that meet IMO the criteria of having a pattern:
1979 MGB GT 1973 MGB GT 1975 MG Midget 1974 Triumph Stag (owned) 2002 Ford Ka Sun Collection 1998 Ford Ka 1 1990 Volvo 740 SE 1989 Volvo 740 GLE 2000 Peugeot 306 GTI-6 1989 Peugeot 205 GTi (still owned) 1998 Peugeot 106 GTi 2001 Ford Mondeo Ghia X 2.0 2005 Ford Mondeo Ghia X V6 (owned) 2003 Alfa Romeo 147 JTD Lusso (owned) 2002 Alfa Romeo 147 2.0 T.Spark Lusso. (owned)
Going from that list it seems that I like BL curse word, Eurobarges and cars with a reputation for unreliability. Glutton for punishment?

Not really, I've owned hundreds of cars and apart from a distinct preference for rwd and manual there been pretty much examples of every type of car you care to think of, though bar a few 205's I’ve avoided small and French I’m finally getting to a stage where I actually understand what I like the idea of and what actually makes me happy to own.. We are cut from the same cloth. Ive had about 200 cars, every sort of type make and budget and 15 yrs later I'm keeping cars longer and understand what i like. Ive ended up where i started as a teen -80s german cars.

Excluding the cars I've bought to break (99% 70s-90s BMWs), my last few are
(latest to 14 months ago) 2000 BMW 528i Touring 1993 BMW 525i Touring 2001 Alfa Romeo 156 V6 Sportwagen 1990 BMW 320i Coupe 1988 Skoda Rapid 136 1974 Austin Mini 1000 1987 BMW 525e
I see nothing aside from a tendency towards six-cyl wagons of late.
I would be most pleased with OPs 'type' though. All in residence still, or moved through??

1980 VC Commodore 1984 VK Commodore 1997 Ford KJ Laser 1974 Mk1 Ford Escort 1972 Mk1 Ford Escort (not running mostly complete) 1973 Mk1 Ford Escort (not running but complete) 1960 Ford Anglia 105E (not running dismantled) 1973 Mk1 Ford Escort (not running empty shell) 2009 VE Commodore wagon (doesn't really count, but at least its running!)
So there seems to be a pattern of going from cars that were running, to cars that don't run, and then cars that don't run and aren't even put together! Guess that's kinda a pattern.

Angular 80s styling is usually my thing. And the 'off the shelf' way the car comes never usually fits my ideas, so endless spending then starts....

The 3 on the drive currently are the Chevy Blazer (V8), the Lexus (V8) and the Discovery (V8). Previously there was the W126 (V8) and a Range Rover (V8).
I'm beginning to spot a pattern here. Only the Jeep Cherokee (6 cylinder) bucks the trend in recent years...
