...though in true Pollitt fashion me wanting one doesn't mean I'll actually ever have one. Still, it's nice to dream. I often find myself wondering about future shows and whatnot, and the sleeping arrangements therein. I'm not thinking about me though (as most of you know, I normally just sleep in the car), I'm thinking about Lucie (my 5yr-old). I was going to get a vintage caravan of some kind, but in all honesty I just couldn't bring myself to own a caravan. Plus, storage would be an issue. The awesome Starcraft, however, could be the perfect slice of cool for camping and daughter-keeping-warm-and-dry duties. So, what do you know about them? I understand there's a Cortina derived chassis of some kind along with, in most cases, a rattly old Pinto. That's all I know. I am keen to know and see more (particularly interior shots). So, RR masses, can you educate me? Sierra flavoured? (I like that) Chris

Make it happen Pollitt: retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=want&action=display&thread=105052There is also one about a mile from my house for sale. The guy wants about £400 for it...and it's got the V6! Could be a lot of fun. It's got a toilet/shower too I believe (door was locked so couldn't go in and check) Next time you're over my way we'll take a trip up and take a looksy if you want?? (don't bring Lucie or she'll probably convince you to buy it )

I too think about this stuff a lot mate, especially after doing the Gathering with Toby in the tent. I am leaning more towards an LT35 van or similar converted to a camper...

I keep thinking that I should get SWMBO to run a mini nursery at the gathering to allow parents a bit of time without the kids as she is a registered Nursery Nurse...

Assuming it's a chassis build...... would make an excellent twin rear axle pickup. Especially if you used Mk3 Cortina panels and grille on the front end.
