One for the AA... ...one for the Royal Mail... ...one for a random builder... ...one for British Telecom... ...and one for the gas board. Anyone got any more?

I remember the water board using them, took a bit of searching for though and only a wee pic from a poster on the bay. Also found a really rusty russet brown one.

British Rail had them when I started back in 1988, but I can find absolutely NO pictures of one.

Pretty sure that AA one was on a stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show back in April... don't think i got any pictures of it then though.
Anyone interested in retro vans should take a look in the last Commercial Motor magazine (15th September mag - just noticed a different one on the shelves in my local Asda though) as it has an article about vans from the 70s/80s and using the howmanyleft site with a short writeup about each vehicles fate.
Morris Marina van is mentioned. 12 left apparently, which it compares with the older but more popular morris minor van which has supposedly 564 remaining. It then reads "The newer Morris Ital has done a little better, with just over 50 examples surviving" - not sure ive seen any other than that one at the CV show however...

I had an ex BT Ital van B759ETN that followed an ex BT Bedford Viva van early 90' iirc scrap was low at the time I weighed the viva in and got 20 quid paid £100 for the Ital complete with hideous homemade bullbar on the front, had to strip and regrease the front end cos the steering was so heavy but other than that it was trouble free till I swapped it away for an Escort I think. No pics unfortunately

I love Ital van's, A chap i used to work Saturday's for bought one from the auctions back in the early 90's for very little, It was a ex plumbers van with only 43000 miles and i had the job of cleaning out inside. I was only about 13 but he used to drive me about in the village in it (it had no mot or tax) but i loved that van. Sad er! I remember it sitting in his yard for a long time after i left working there and looking on the DVLA it never did make it back on the road, shame, it only needed a patch on the passenger footwell to pass the mot. The vehicle details for A41 SHK are: Date of Liability 01 12 1993 Date of First Registration 01 04 1984 Year of Manufacture 1984 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1275CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour BLUE Oh, and he's me back in 1983 standing next to my dad's old one.
