I've not heard back from the person I asked, I have a possible place where they might be but will have to check it....I have to say it is pleasant down that way, my friend got married in Cooling Castle Barn a few weeks back, what a beautiful venue, almost came a cropper on the 90 degree bends leading to it though lol

Got a parcel in the post today from a certain Mr Bugthug in the USA. He and I had traded some number plates last year, but he asked me to be patient while he gathered some for me. I love every one of them, and they will be up in the rafters tomorrow morning. The vanity plates will be put on display until they can be added to final projects. My wife is massively impressed and suggested I screw the plate into the middle of the headboard with an arrow to show which part is actually hers This build was actually put off last year, due to Hannah making noises (lots of them) about moving to Australia, so building a teardrop with no owner in mind is a bit pointless. However, you never know.....

Due to a rather radical change in plans (well, Hannah now wants to move to Australia when she qualifies) this donor is up for sale on Ebay. I contacted the guy who gave it to me to offer it back to him, He declined...... BUT, suggested I put it on Ebay and and we split the selling price (after Ebay costs) It cost me what I paid out to get it here, wont charge for the missus cleaning it out and and spending 2 1/2 hrs pressure cleaning it last weekend ;D EBAY LINK: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110843944490?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649There are already 18 watchers and 4 people have messaged me about interior shots and to ask if it can be towed..... so there will not be a Buy it Now price, unless someone brings like £600 or something silly. Remember what it looked like when fetched? A few hours with a decent pressure cleaner later. Will be taking some interior pics for the Ebay crowd later too. Lets hope the right buyer gets it, as it is a lovely caravan, needing some light resto work to see it hold up holiday traffic again.

Bathroom, has washbasin and table to go between the beds during day. Please note, no Porta Potty. Kitchen area, opened. You have a Cooker, Oven, Fridge and a small Boiler over the kitchen sink. Kitchen area closed up. Kitchen and Bathroom area from bed side. Heating unit below wardrobe. Caravan also has 220V outlets inside. Bed area looking from kitchen area. I hope these photos are enough. If you need to see more and are still interested, then a personal viewing is highly recommended.

If I had the space I'd be all over this. I'm getting a hankering for another vintage caravan build.

Nicola is massively impressed and pleased with the "Tip Treasures" you brought around yesterday. They will be perfect for herb garden she is planning. She still misses the one she left behind at her old house when we moved here. I will post up the Belfast Sinks in the Tip Treasure thread. I am amazed at the Caravan on Ebay...... 76 watchers, and 2 bids so far.

Well...... as they say, that was fun.
The caravan made £350.00 on Ebay, and after listing and commision costs, splitting the money with Nick, and then what it cost me to get it home etc, we "made" £60.00 if you exclude me pressure cleaning the outside for almost 3hrs and Nicola valeting the inside twice.
I suspect I wont be building another teardrop for a kid in a while (ever)
It was nice while it lasted though.
