picked this up on friday night, 1980 series 1 with a series 2 front end conversion carried out at the factory. complete restoration 2 years ago, engine rebuilt 1 year ago, 88k miles, 3 previous owners, bloke i got it off has had it for 11 years tidied up the wiring for the speakers and HU yesterday as they didnt work. interior is in a decent condition but needs a tidy up to match the rest of the car so got a list of bits that are needed. so gave it wash yesterday height comparision with the truck underneath is clean, cleaner than any car i've had so far althought the exhaust is mild steel and has a blow so planning on a Mal Stuart works manifold and a Skip Brown exhaust

Lovely.
I'm a Vauxhall man through and through but I'd still have one of these over an HS - great car.

I absolutely love these cars. Black is deff my fav colour, followed by blue on blue. Looks like you have a good clean one there B-)

new filter with the old airbox backing plate on, quite a small engine for a 2.2 and done, sounds a bit more throaty, next up is a manifold and exhaust

Always liked these, the closest I came was driving a Ti at Brands Hatch and owning an Avenger (which at least shares the same doors)

She's mega mate!
I would also suggest going with Mal after some exhaust pipe woes of my own from a different aftermarket pipework company.

still waiting on the exhaust and interior bobbins but hey ho
replaced a bearing, stripped down the brakes to stop one squealing and tidied up some more wiring then took it out twatting around some back roads. its certainly tail happy and is a much more interesting drive than my old evo
