"It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters, so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say? Is it the new Bluesmobile or what?" Fix the cigarette lighter.

Load up RR, click thread just as "gimmie some lovin'" starts blasting through the speakers the Blues Mobile pops up before my eyes. awesome ;D Kirsty

I will own a Monaco one day, maybe not a Bluesmobile one. I did have the phone number of a guy that apparently owned one of the film cars down in Kent. Really must find that card.

What's the laws regarding rolling around in a police car such as above? I've always considered one as a future purchase.

After consulting my local force the rules are....
No Blue lights/lenses on a vehicle can be shown (working or not, but mine does work). So a sock over the beacon covers this rule.
The word POLICE can not be shown on a vehicle Unless the public can easily understand that it is not in Police service. So being as this car is a 1971 model thats highly unlikely!! However it's a good idea to 'cover up' in a new area in the event of running into that 'job's worth' copper who decides your impersonating a police vehicle.
The Northants police are happy for me to drive around as shown with no cover on the police wording on the roof box, however this might a different case in another county.
On long journeys I remove it...saves the hassle
