I was just doing one of my regualr searches for a CX25 and found a black GTI in excellent nick on an expired Classiccarsforsale site. Regonised the drive from your pictures and remembered you saying your dad had a few. Do you know who it went to? Still badly want a black one and that was perfect, don't know how long ago the ad was but would love to gget my hands on it! ...IIRC that would've been a G Reg CX GTi Auto(not a Turbo 2 version). I'm sure it went to a chap in the Citroen Car Club and he also had a black Citroen DS too - I believe he still has the CX. Intrigued to see what you do with it, but part of me'd like to see it restored as there must only be a handful left in this country now. ...there's not too many left nowadays but for concourse I've got my other Visa that's 1 owner and 41,000 miles - beauty and the beast! I intend to take the Special to Citroen Car Club shows and wind some people up with it (probably the DS and Traction Avant owners! ;D ;D )

Evening Chaps, Been quite a while so I think an update is in order! The Visa is still here and is continuing to make people laugh (!), and is due to make it's first public appearance at the CCC National Rally in next month - I can't wait to see people's reactions! Modifications-wise, I have now got a huge aerial for the CB Radio so I'll have to get around to finishing that part of the modifications off soon - shouldn't take much. Just to add to the factor of the Visa, I've dusted off some stereo gear and installed it in the way it can only be installed in the Visa, including amp wiring going through the other airvent! Pictures to come once it's 100% finished. Another thing to add to the factor is that the Visa now sports a very large, loud, deep sounding lorry horn that sure does put the frighteners on people - currently being powered through compressed air with the tank and compressor in the boot next to the amp and sub. Fully equipped with authentic pull chain taken from a hanging basket! ;D There is also another modification that's just been finished off that I am keeping under wraps so to speak which will be revealed at the National Rally which I am sure will cause many ! As always, comments welcome and don't forget suggestions too! ;D

An update is in order for the Beast! ;D Well as stated much earlier in the thread, I intended to take the beast, along with my other Visa, to the the National Rally of the Citroen Car Club. Firstly, here's a picture of beauty and the beast together (there's nobody else there as we took them there before the start of the show!). Here's the line-up view of the Visas, courtesy of Chris off of the Visa Forum: The Beast certainly got people laughing and so much so that I was awarded the 'Shed of the Show' prize! ;D ;D The laugh is though, my other Visa was 1 VOTE off of being voted the Best in Show! More details in it's thread here - link. So next step is more radical modifications! ;D ;D
